Hi all

Thought I'd start a thread on my new ride, a MY10 GT Premium Wagon 6MT.
Now that I'm no longer a uni student I wanted to treat myself. I consider this purchase my first 'proper car'.

I don't know a lot about what I'm doing but after a lot of reading here I've got a vauge idea of what I want to do. I plan on bombarding you all with questions so I apologise in advance if I come across uber noob.

The previous owner made a few mods:
STi front grill
STi front lip
STi rear wing
STi short shift gear stick and knob
STi front strut brace
GT Legacy badge
HKS180 something somthing turbo back exhaust
Interior LED replacement
Macintosh hack
USB/SD card media player thingo

My planned mods/work:
Major service due in 20 000km - reccommendations for Wollongong area?
Small dent correction
Paint correction to previous owners touch up work if possible.
Tune - unsure who, yet to approach anyone.
Tein H spec or Eibach lowering springs so it doesn't look like I'm driving a truck.
Rota G-force in gun metallic 18x8.5 ET+44 or 18x9 ET+35.
Rear swaybar.
BOV that can be relatively easily plumbed back in so I can be fully sick when I'm in the mood.
De-badge Symmetrical AWD badge
ELM327 interface - bluetooth. Thoughts on the cheapo ebay ones compared to the real deal here http://www.totalcardiagnostics.com/elm327-bluetooth/

Peace

Seriously, I like the sound of this :D

Take a look at Kido tuning in the for sale/sponsors section. I'm getting mine tuned by him, and he has a great rep.

Get the cheap one - I have one, and it works perfectly well. worst case you're down $20 :)
