G'day everyone!

The name's Wayne and having just passed my P's, I'd thought I'd start a build thread (mostly for myself to reflect on) before getting on the slippery slope that is the mods bandwagon!

I've got myself a Sedan 2006 MY07 3.0 Spec B (Brilliant Silver) for my first ride; enjoying every moment I spend in it and hope to improve the car over time.
Being a uni student myself, funds are kinda tight so the mods will be over a long run.

Previous owner already installed a Parrot BT kit, lib has the bootlip spoiler from factory and the grille has been plastidip'd BLACKKKKK (for now).

Stuff to do:
- Tune (completed)
- Tint (installed)
- Front Lip (installed)
- Shockworks coilovers (installed)
- Remove intake resonator (completed)
- Replace front bumper
- 18x8.5 Gram Lights Extreme 57 in Graphite
- xforce catback with quad tips
- Honeycomb grille
- Lights in and out
- Blacked out headlights

No pics yet, because I'm pretty sure you're all sick of seeing stock Spec Bs haha

EDIT: Nevermind, here's a pic :D

Ha cheers everyone!

Fair point about the before and after pics. And for the lights, I think I'll get the basic stuff done first (get the suspension happening), then see how I feel about them then. Easier to justify the costs of lights over wheels eh?

Cheers everyone! Got an OTR lip put on and for the price, I really can't complain about the fitment. Love the contrast it gives for the front end; might plastidip it eventually so it matches up perfectly in shade with the grille.

Worst thing about them lips, is it shows how high up the car actually is. :? I'll get some coilovers... eventually.

Ahaha. Nah, not my surname, would be gold though to have it on my driver's licence. :P

Looks great! I reckon no lip makes it look higher though. But seriously the stock height is cringeworthy aye.

haha phew! would be funny to see cops' reaction when they check that licence.

It's time for updates!

SHOCKWORKS!! Need I say more?

Now, as inexperienced as I am, as both a driver and car DIY enthusiast, I could already notice the massive difference just driving out of the Pedders. The coils are amazing in keeping the lib glued to the ground; there's almost no rebound coming off bumps! Taking rough roads at speed and twisties with confidence. :D The lib's lower by 15mm all around, which is plenty IMO. Road noise is seems to be noticeably louder, yet the comfort feels pretty much the same as stock. Will be adjusting the dampers later on to find my sweet spot.

To be honest, i was a bit apprehensive spending 2k on coils, but it is so absolutely, mega, awesome worth it! Anyone reading this and considering suspension upgrades, be sure to check out Shockworks.

Cheers to the folks at Ringwood Pedders, Shockworks and, of course, Owen.

Other news:

- Removed the air intake resonator (milk bottle)
- Got a dashcam; not hardwired yet

Shockworks <3

Oh, I went through my first post and realised the bad wording in it was confusing. That list was my 'to-do list', rather than what i currently have on.

Would love to be able to afford all that jazz right now :P

Anyways, I'll be looking at getting a tune next time Matt's down in Melb, and maybe start looking around for the best price on the Rays.
