From the bit of mucking around I've done, it just lets you access more sensors (I haven't gone through and checked exactly what's different). I'm currently speaking with the support guys from OBDKey to update the firmware of my key to speak SSM over CANBUS, at the moment it talks over K-Line, I'm their test bed for the new firmware.

From what I've read around the place, 200 is about the limit for a Gen V without doing stronger pistons and/or upgraded turbo? That'd be about the limit for me I'd think, but if I need a TMIC before then I'll get one.
Yeah it handles a lot better now, especially at speed. Hopefully in the first half of January I get this crap sorted out with the front end links. I'm still getting used to the anti-lift too, it feels really strange through the steering wheel. Will probably do the front LCA bushes at some point too, despite what S&J said about NVH. The set up at the moment rides beautifully. I drove a 550km (ish) round trip for the Christmas break and the ride on the highway is comparable to the stock springs comfort-wise.
