Hey guys my name is Beau im 21 living in Melbourne. I study industrial design and hope to one day become an automotive designer. It's always been my passion ever since i was a kid, modding however is something im quite new to and im ready to learn.

Subaru's came to my liking at an early age with their WRC imprezas's rolling around in the mud, since those days the heritage grew on me. Yet lately I wasn't a fan of how the styling department have taken subaru with the current models seriously like what have they done with the liberty's now, getting rid of the metal glass metal breakup for the wagon was the worst decision in my opinion. When it came time to buying a second car I got some inspiration from Jay Ritchie and a few others, this lead me to buying a 2005 Liberty wagon. It also gave me more space to lug around various items for mtb, snowboarding ect. I couldn't be more happy with my 05 wagon especially since my old car was a plane old ford falcon (first car hand me down). I opted to pick up the 3lr model because well is there any other choice on p plates.

This brings me to the plans for this car, to say the least I have many. Money and time with be the decider of this. I like the lowered look (not to low) with nice forged metal wheels preferably imported ones ideally im planning for work, rota, enkei, sti. A good suspension set up, small amount of tuning and performance upgrades, improved night vision, tinted windows and a few more. The bottom line is that I want my liberty to remain as clean as possible in terms of cosmetic mods. My liberty should to the untrained eye seem stock but with some flavor as I want to avoid the rice look. My intention is to be different at the same time. This may be asking for a lot but I think I can achieve it in the next year or to.

Today I picked up and installed a custom sports grill with honeycomb mesh supplied by Mh3.03 (mark). Definitely improves the front end of the car and gives it a way nicer look. Ill post some photos later.

Welcome! First thing, get rid of those grandpa spec strips of black plastic on the front bumper (and the rear if they're on there too). Otherwise, it looks great, and will look even better with the new grill.

What a transformation from stock, the car looks amazing mate. Can't get a better car while still on P's, well done.
Also, Matt from Kido Racing on the forums is pretty much the master of tuning the 3.0's, it's actually insane the difference the initial tune makes. Definitely recommend checking that out!
