Hey Guys,

I picked up my Gen 4 Liberty Wagon 3.0R Spec-B just last week and must say I am very happy with it.

I will slowly be adding things to it and will update this thread with details and images.

So Far:

-K&N Filter
-Clear Red LED Tail Lights
-Darker Window Tint
-Ultrex Performance Mufflers
-GROM BT3 Audio Unit
-Custom LIB30R number plates
-Morimoto XB Angel Eyes
-Calipers painted red and wheels painted gunmetal grey

Here it is alongside my old car, a 2002 Nissan Pulsar N16 Q 1.8 Manual (which is currently for sale). At this stage, only the K&N Filter and Lights had been installed (Hadn't been detailed at this stage)

Today, it got a wash and a polish, and the following images are just after the wash (not polished at this stage - finished up quite late when it was getting dark so couldn't get pics, but it is even shinier now :D )

Thanks HardwareBoB...

Updated with pic of it this morning after its polish yesterday.

Planning on an exhaust (starting with a set of Ultrex Performance Mufflers, may extend to cat back eventually), maybe an intake, updated brakes (hopefully brembo), and a KiDo tune to improve responsiveness and economy.

Just purchased a GROM BT3 for the McIntosh also.

Not entirely sure of what to do after that. Suggestions are always welcome :)

Honestly imho for 99% of people brembos are a waste of time. DBA T2 rotors and some intima SS/SR or QFM HPX/A1RM will do everything you need to do. That said, it's your car, do what you like!

The raptor intake and headers for the H6 sounds pretty sweet from what I've read, but I don't know directly. A tune will help with everything.

Thanks for the advice. You are probably right. I don't need anything like Brembos. Even DBA T2 rotors are probably more than enough for my requirements. I will do some more research as to availability and pricing when I am ready for some new rotors.

The only thing with intake and headers is the sound. I wouldn't want anything too loud or over the top. I would probably love the sound, but don't know if I could live with it on a day to day basis. Seeing one first hand would be the best option.

Definitely lining up a tune. Matt from KiDo tuning is supposedly coming close to my location in a few weeks.

Beautiful wagon mate.

I have the DBA T2 rotor and Intima combination on my car. PM me for more details if you like. I have also heard good things about the Raptor headers. Tim (tailwind) is a top bloke and very knowledgeable. Give him a tickle for any further information in the Raptor section of the forum.

Can also vouch for Matt (Kido) for tune. He will awaken a beast in your car for sure. Hard to get in contact though so be patient. Worth the wait.

Very clean looking car dude, looking forward to seeing where you take it.

Definitely worth thinking about headers + catback as well. I installed raptor headers, and an xforce catback system onto my 3.0 a couple months back and it's absolutely awesome. The H6 motor makes a beautiful sound, just needs a bit of work to bring it out.

+1 on the kiDo tune as well, easily the best bang for your buck mod that can be done on these cars

Wheels look great! How did you do them? I've heard of people using plastidip, but I'm not sure how that will stand up to wear and tear. I'll use plastidip to do my grille, though.

They were pretty badly scraped in places and had a lot of stone chips on them from the previous owner. They were all sanded back, filled and resanded, primed with a Dupli-Color Primer, and then sprayed with Dupli-Color Gunmetal Grey.

The calipers were all pulled apart and cleaned back with wire brushes and brake cleaner, and everything was taped up and sprayed with Enamel Caliper Paint.

Whilst I tackled the calipers, my Dad did the wheels. Took about 3 days in total to do everything. Not completely full days but it was pretty tiring work.

I am happy with the outcome. The center caps have since been painted gunmetal grey also and the other wheels/calipers finished, so I will post some more pics soon :)

Fantastic work on the gunmetal wheels! :) Love the contrast with the Brilliant Silver.

Very keen on checking out the finished photos; interested in doing something with my stock wheels as well. ;)

You've got a generous dad :D

Unfortunately mine is back in the UK, so I'll look for a refurbisher and powder coat. Anyone got a recommendation in the Sydney area?
