So plasti dip was on sale where I work, so I decided to give it a go and see how the stock rims would look black. So far I'm really happy with the look. Somehow makes the car look lower than before, and in my opinion much more aggressive.

The black dipped rims look so much better than stock! I think you should consider a debadge on the trunk if you end up getting aftermarket wheels, would look real stealth imo 8)

Not mine, but another member on here.

Blacking out the rear under bumper gives a great contrast imo. I'll defs be blacking mine when i get a hold of mufflers :)

That looks absolutely boss! I wonder why they chose to change it in the facelift models?
Also looking at that ride height reminds me of how much I need more lows

*Update*

Just ordered a mild steel X-Force center muffler and Y-Pipe assembly from bestmufflers.com. Says 2-5 days to arrive so hopefully will be here and fitted within the week / early next week.

*Update*

It's been a while since the last one of these, but better late than never I guess.
A few mods have been done since I last posted.
The first is a pretty basic plasti dip job on the front grille, as my honeycomb grille I had on order was damaged during shipping :(
The next is a simple number plate lift. Made some brackets using parts from bunnings, around $4 later and the outcome looks great in my opinion (the plastic bar in the middle of the bumper was also painted black)

Final mod was my new X-Force Mid - Y-Pipe from bestmufflers. Paired with the Ultrex mufflers I already have, it increases the note by quite a bit, but even then its still pretty quiet. I hear that the X-Force mufflers do make the system pretty loud but can drone on the freeway. Below is a photo of it. I ordered mild steel, so I was expecting black like on their site, but the silver is a nice touch.
