Yeah I like the rear bar. Does it have a dual exhaust too now?

yea for the exhaust, that's something i've been thinking for a while, maybe something to be worked on down the track.
so far everything done were just cosmetic, i've been intentionally trying to avoid any mechanical changes.
i did gently ask Lincon before for his stock exhaust long ago, which appeared to be availabe.
but according to Matt @ Kido, twin exhaust might not be an improment for a 2.5 NA.
so, maybe re-visit this after i run out of cosmetic mods?

Indeed!!
The stock 17" looks so much more fragile.
was daydreaming putting on some white colour RAYS rims some time ago.
aparently those are pretty hard to keep clean,
besides, a few grand to fork out? maybe another day after Lottery.

You could say twin exhaust is a cosmetic improvement lol.. but in your case with the rear bumper spoiler on, wouldn't make any difference. I reckon you should get some window rain visors, they're quite handy and look good. Oh and you should get some aftermarket springs to lower it slighty :D

With the changing wheels did you also do anything to adjust the speedo?

Why would you need to do that - there's no change to the rolling diameter, because the larger wheels have smaller profile tyres.

From what i can remember the 18" ran on 225/45 R18 while the 17" ran on 215/50 R17. This gives the 18" a diameter of 651 while the 17" get a 647 this is a small amount of difference but don't you need to re-adjust the speedo? Correct me if i am wrong. I do know that there is a margin of error already built into the speedo but would't the small change enough to offset it just a bit on some cars?

hmmm, Cosmetic eh ......

i was looking at the rain visors originally, but it cost like 300+ from dealer right?
how much roughly were the ones you got from Prova?

will explore the thought of lowering in the future it definitely makes it look nicer.

I know Simon, looks like K2 is the only choice for me, (TommyKiara and Stock Subaru are both too bulky and ugly)
http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/569888/car/493214/1749179/photo.aspx
of course i gotta paint it pearl white to colour match, right.

just need to save up some $$ for it.
the shipping is actually more than the part itself.
will need to get some better quotes or wait till JPN Yen crashes some time in the future.

I did a little digging in the SATNAV manual, and did a SATNAV re-calibration thing.
other than that, i couldn't find any reference on updating the wheel size.

hope this answers your concern.

Sorry, I never got around to replying. The Prova window visors were like $150? I ordered them with the Prova air scoop all together for around $300. I think I got them through either Perfectrun.co.jp or Japanparts.

OK, time to update again.

got the Crystal Eye head lamps on 1st release in July 2015.
trying to avoid any black color tone so picked the Chrome version
didn't get the chance to install till late Sept.

my 2.5 NA didn't come with Xeon Lamps, so had to get LEO (HKS180) to help me coverting it from Halogen.
wasn't a small job. Leo installed without problems, also, had Leo changed to LED inside out.

Pics: (check out the DSLR shot from HKS180 in earlier post)

late 2015, after searching for some interior accessories, got my hands on to these from Taobao.

the door panel guard is just sheet of paper, they designed it to mimic the Carbon Fibre look i guess, i was only trying to prtoect the Door Trim.

it came as in 4 pieces, pretty thick, has been durable, (half a year, no peeling off or anything)
should have put these on every new car right after purchase.

if anyone wants to get hold of these, i can share the URL or hook you up.

Now, the cargo seperator thing has been extremely useful.

it's just a piece of plastic inside nylon fabric with velcro tapes.
but you will be so supprised how much small crap you can now organize and they wouldn't slip everywhere in the trunk.

i got a pair for my Mrs' Forester too. but it's a much smaller space.
There are GenV sedan versions as well, but not for Gen4
Again, if anyone is interested, i can hook you up.
