So I test fitted the ultrex eyelids and wasn't very pleased with the way sat. So I took to them with a flapper wheel and modified them. Still not overly satisfied with the fitment of them, but ill run them for a bit and see if they grow on me.

Your modification looks tonnes better than the Ultrex version IMO.

I recently fitted some eyelids to my car (not ultrex ones) and they are the ones everyone is looking for.

Get the ones you've done colorcoded I reckon. Should blend in nicely. Unless you want that black look

I only went black because I ran out of silver. I don't mind the black, but do agree silver will blend nicer.

Brembos arrived from Perth last week. Took them straight into work for a blast and undercoat. Yet to put the top and clear coat on yet, but here's how they look.

As you can see they were in fairly average condition. I don't have much experience with painting but I thought what the hell, might as well give it a crack :)

Agree the eyelids look much better now, i've always had a bit of a gripe with the ones spike down around the low beams bulb and how they lose their positioning when viewing from any positition other than straight on.

Damn those Brembo's certainly had a hard life before you got hold of them. Looking forward to seeing them painted.

Got the colour on yesterday. I'm overall pretty happy with how they turned out, considering it was my first attempt. I buggered up one sticker :angry2: so I'm now waiting for the replacement. Going to buy some new bleed nipples and covers today. Here's how they look.

Yea mate, 3 layers of clear. Didn't bring it out as shiny as I was hoping though.

Finally installed my new wheel bearing, fixed the vibration noise completely. Geeze, what a pain in the ass it was to get it off the axle. Took to my buckled rim lip with a deadblow, didn't come out completely but its so much better than it was.

Got some battery and abs covers coming from a group buy on Ozfoz. It will also be going into the shop soon to get the front inner cv joint replaced as theyre split and clicking.
annnnnnd the brembos have had a bit of a set back, but they will be on soon enough :)
