hey all

thought id start a build thread kinda thing

so my partner and i bought my 2006 Liberty GT TBSTi 3 months ago. We flew to QLD to get her and made it back to vic in time for the thompsom dam/walhalla cruise the next day. She didnt miss a single beat and is really comfy.



for now, all im doing is exterior mods. first was blacking out the chrome from the grill, polished the headlights up, good cut n polish.
i was hunting around for different grills and couldnt decide between a corazon or an ultrex. Corazon won in the end and i placed an order for one at the start of june, recieved nd installed it last night. I also changed the dodgy yellow low beam globes for some MVA quartz globes and the difference is amazing. next on my list of things to do is pull my headlights apart and put some black inserts in. then while the front bar is off, ill be able to scrub my current front bar as its in pretty average condition. anyway, heres some extra pics for people to enjoy

oh the only power mod i will be doing is getting a kiDo tune at some point

This car are probably my favourite shape. And colour. And wheels.

I dont know why I didn't have a thread previously. I remember writing it, but dont think I actually posted it haha. Silver/grey/white is our colour. My rims need to be refurbed as they are very rashed sad panda, but they're all in 1 piece which is the main thing. And as sad as it sounds, I love my roof racks hahaha

Hehe thanks Chris, we found a bargain. We'd only just gotten back at 1030pm sat night and was reminded about the cruise I think it was late arvo sat. Keen to do that run again though (not school holiday time though haha).
The more I drive her the more I fall in love and the grill just takes the cake

Sooo,ni havent done much to her in the last few months. Got bored this weekend and decided to paint the engine cover gloss black with a fine glitter sprinkled over it. Will be doing other bits of plastic in the comig weeks
Will be helping my partner out getting parts for his gen2 build so the cosl0tly mods for my car will come later. A tune will be soon though

Get some dilute Perl or similar on a soft dust pan brush & hit all the other black bits in the engine bay.

Im too impatient to wait haha. I couldnt find a glitter style paint I wanted so I improvised, black gloss and fine nail glitter (im a beauty therapist so have heaps laying around) haha!! I just have to find the time to pull it all apart
