Went down to Mark's today to pick up my brembos and post fl mirrors. Silly me didnt to do my research so I didn't know that the tb sti had different backing plates and that's how the rear brakes are mounted, so now I need to source some dogbone adapters :angry2:

And my brembos revealed

He really does do top work. I wasn't aware of anyone else who'd done it, should be good for something just a little different

Thanks mate, the good news is that Matt still has the wreck and is going to give me the backing plates, handbrake shoes etc so I'm going to go to the effort of pulling it all apart and changing over the backing plates to avoid buying some :)

Thanks for the link, it looks good. Not sure whether I'll paint the mirror mounts to make them black because they're a bit grey atm and it stands out too much

Got defected yesterday afternoon on my way to work :angry2: pokey wheels and tinted tail lights. Getting pinged for the wheels is stupid, the copper reckons that the whole wheel, spokes and everything has to be under the wheel arch. Tail lights I'm not surprised as I thought they were iffy myself. Only a minor defect so I have 30 days to clear it and take it to vicroads to get signed off

That sucks man, I thought you were allowed 5mm of wheel poke? At least I'm pretty sure that's what it is in QLD

Btw those brembos look awesome

Apparently not according this copper, nothing can hang out according to him so I'll throw the stock wheels back on, get it cleared then these will be going straight back to where they belong :)

Thanks mate, they're certainly different
