And they're on
Matched with tune from Matt. All I can say is holy crap. What a difference. I'll have to get some sound clips somehow.
I think any idea of subtlety just flew out the window.

Yea, sounds great with the headers and the Ultrex mufflers. Sounds deep and throaty at low RPM and then screams like an Italian supercar when I boot it.

Sound clip of a cold start this morning. It was around 1 degree outside. The image is just static.

And a bit of a video just driving to work. The whole system is pretty much silent when cruising.

Now I just need to figure out how to embed into this forum.

Thanks Shav. Loving this car more and more as time goes by. I used to change cars twice a year because I got bored of them. Don't see that happening here

Exhaust sounds great nikolai, very deep. How much louder do you think it got with the headers?

I actually think it got a bit quieter with the headers. Much smoother. I say this because I put the Ultrex mufflers on a week earlier and I was not 100% sold on the sound. They were a bit raspy in the mid range. One the headers went in that raspy sound was gone and it was a bit quieter in the cabin. It makes a good noise outside though. :-)
I think part of this is down to the tune though. I loaded up a tune from Matt before I even drove off from the exhaust shop.
I had 2 tunes to test and one of them made the car drone (too much flow apparently) the other sounds perfect.

That's interesting, I was looking at getting headers but didn't want the car to be any louder might have to reconsider them now

Chur. Probably sounds better in person. The Exhaust note has texture of there is such a thing
