Hey all,

2005 2.5i, pretty boring, not worth trying to get power gains so i wanted to make it look nice/fun to drive at least as a daily.
Here's how it looked when I got it in 2012.
Image

Current mods:
- BC BR coilovers
- All guards rolled
- XXR 527's 18x8.75 +35 with 225/40/18 tyres
- wrx 4 pots
- front slotted rotors
- 35% tint all around
- Tinted taillights
- DIY mesh grille
- Cobb 5mt short shifter
- Dashboard camera
- Number plate lift
- Custom plates
- Front lip
- DIY side skirt extensions
- 11-14 wrx rear aprons

Planned (aka maybe since i do plan to upgrade):
- whiteline swaybars F&R with appropriate bushings and end links
- exhaust or just mufflers (PM me please if you plan to sell)
- HIDs eventually
- Different wheels or pump guards to fit 235/40.
- Bootwing delete or boot swap
- Respray whatever i can

Here's a few recent pics.

Looks good as man, good to see more modded 2.5is on here.
Maybe add a lip to that mods list? :)

Just keep in mind that bucket seats aren't a legal swap in these due to the seat airbags...

October 2014 update:

- COBB 5mt shoft shifter
- Dashboard camera finally in after modding the mount a little.
- Custom plates, prefered black on white than white or silver on black.

Big fan of the Deltaspeed lip kit but i felt like it didnt suit preface unless i had a jdm front bar or something.
So i thought i'd try a simpler look, found a lot of people on legacygt.com use a lot of universal lips and some i found some using 11-14 wrx cs style sides and rears.
Since the sides of libs are longer than 11-14 wrx i would have needed to modify them and i didnt wana have to pay $300+ just to hack them up.
Instead i decided to try my hand in fabricating some simple side skirt extensions from fibreglass and just plastidipped to see how it would look.
Then ordered wrx rears for cheap.

Here's a few pics, testing them on for a bit until i decide if they stay on. I don't mind the rears being little short but i do want to add some bits so it connects to the rear bar exhaust arches more.

What do you guys think?

I love you wheels, stance and how clean your car is.
You did a rad job man.

If you don't mind me asking how much was your wheel set-up?
Any clearance issues, much work to get them to fit?
