do these really make a difference to n/a cars...the 2.5i engine?

It's just a capacitor to alter your A/F ratio to read something different, to trick your ECU into giving it more/less fuel/ignition etc.

In short, it probably does work to an extent, but it could also blow your engine up.

hmmm ok, the last post was a tad gay
are you for real about the blowing up? i thought they were used on heaps of vehicles and were purely there for performance purposes?
e.g. holdens, fords etc...or is it only good on those cars?

Who needs a tune when you can get an x-chip!

The thing looks like it's built in some Taiwanese sweat shop. I wouldn't go near it with a 10 foot clown pole.

You need a proper tune.

That 'chip' thing is basically the effect of running 40psi on your car, without a tune or any internal mods.

Sure, it'll be fine - for a little while.

tuning an NA 2.5i...is that even possible,
if so what are the differences?
