Btw, who did your head gasket fix?

Good to hear, and so i've been told :P NRG did my head gasket fix, I thought I did a big end at one point (right after the Xmas cruise), you'll notice the knocking near the end of the video. Took it back to nick on a tow truck, he couldn't hear it so I sent across the video to him. Turns out bits of the rubber came off the solenoid valve which made it's way through the system, lucky I did take it back and noticed as I was missing something like 3.5L oil.

Quick update - Still waiting on parts to arrive, I wasn't able to find an OZ supplier for the grimmspeed stuff so i'll settle for a COB Turbo Heat shield and a Cosworth oil cap. Postage and US currency just drives everything up to an insane price, I think i'll still dish out the money for the STi pink paint that's also made by grimmspeed.

The performance gauge pack is taking forever to actually post to me, the place i ordered it from in the US had to order it in (ordered on the 16th of Jan).

I've also bought a Axxess Metra ASWC-1 Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface to hopefully gain back my wheel controls, after a bit of research these had far better reviews over the PAC ones which were commonly noted as lagy.

Got a second hand fog light to replace my smashed one :( - With this i'm now looking to get some Halo's and change the fog lights to match with a white/blue light. Unsure on where to go for the Halo lights, any info would be appreciated (I've asked G88, awaiting a reply).

Need to take a look at my amp grounding wire as well, I'm getting a weird constant noise from the speakers. I've found that when I turn my key to ON everything starts up including my head unit If I wait a few seconds before the head unit has booted up and start the engine the head unit turns off and doesn't turn back on, so i'll have to check the remote turn on with the amp...

Got around to fixing my audio buzzing, the RCA cables were running a bit too close to the power right near the amp so that was easy enough to re-locate. Still waiting on parts unfortunately :(

Yup, the double din fascia kit I bought came with it. Not exactly cheap though.

Gauge arrived today
Image

Started to put it in Sunday arvo, had a bit of problems feeding through wires in the grommet. I'll have to take off the intercooler to get better access next week.

I got this to keep with the same feel and look of everything, the sweep and timing match the dash. Also got around to ordering:
- Cobb Turbo Heat Shield
- Grimmspeed Oil Cap
- Grimmspeed 3 port Boost Solenoid

Gauge pack finally wired up! I'm still waiting on my gear, G88 said there has been delays due to the snow storms in Japan although it's been 2 weeks now since i've been told anything... time to follow up again.

Did a video of the start-up / turn off:

Just had G88 install:
    Phat GT Dump Pipe
    K2 Full dual center pipe
    K2 Titanium Spec-Neo
    Cobb Turbo Heat Shield

Shall get pics and videos up soon, I've got a video of my old exhaust to compare the difference in sound. It's slightly louder than stock which is what i'm after

How do you rate the gfb on the 50/50 vent to air setting?
