That would be awesome Scott, cheers! Will be lining up a tune soon. May have to wait until the new year though.

Nabbed some tail light and side mirror indicator tinted over lays from the States. Bit pricey for 4 little bits of plastic, but I think they look pretty schmick.

I took a quick pic after installing the left tail light:

Will take better shots at some stage.

Good job on the tail light tint.
I orderered the face lift version of that tint from the US as well (probably same guy), but never installed it. How good was the fitment?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

The tail lights fit perfectly. The only issue is getting rid of the air bubbles, but that's easy enough. The side indicator ones are bigger than what's needed, so you just need to trim off the edges once applied. There are little bulges in the pre-facelift side indicators which can make it hard to get a perfect application.

You should definitely chuck yours on. Did you get the ones with the circles cut out? I think they look great on the face lifted models.

Spent the weekend installing coil overs, sway bars, rotors, and brake pads, as well as painting my stock brake calipers.

More low installed, thanks to BC BRs. I think the rear is too low, so I will raise it a touch soon.

Looks like you've been working hard Brad. Looking good, nice work on doing everything yourself. How long did it take you to spray your calipers?

Cheers Dan. Gotta be honest and admit my dad did most of the work, seeing as he actually knows what he's doing.

The callipers didn't take long at all. Doused them in brake cleaner, then put on 2 coats of blue and 1 of clear. I didn't do the greatest job and it's a bit patchy if you look close enough; but most won't so I guess it works.

I have it booked in for an alignment, balance, and installation of LCA bushings on thursday. I drove it today to do Christmas shopping, and there is a huge difference from how it was before. Even driving very tamely you can tell how much stiffer it is and how it turns in much sharper.

I currently have the coils set smack bang in the middle at 15, but maybe soften them up a little bit for daily driving.

LCA bushings are in and wheels have been aligned and balanced. The car drives great now, and I can't wait to take it for a proper spin in the upcoming cruise.

Also, the used Hyperflow TMIC I bought off a member here has arrived:

Unfortunately, it will be sitting around for a fair while gathering dust, until my licence suspension ends in about 6 months and I get a tune. At least I will be able to save some money over the upcoming months.

Well, it's been a long time since I've updated this and I just cleaned and waxed the car, so figured I would post some new pics and updates. I haven't changed anything major since my last post; just minor cosmetic things I think. Oh, and a new tint in midnight express , cause the old tint was bubbling up and pulling off which looked shit.

I got some interior bits hydro dipped in a carbon fibre style plus grabbed some STI pedals from a fellow forum member:

Image

I grabbed a cubby gauge pod from Casipolis (if I spelled his name correctly) and used an AEM A/F ratio and oil temp gauge in the two spots:

Image

And I sent my headlights down to Leo for HIDS + black out:

And here's just two more pics of it nice and clean:

When I have some more money I will grab a Kinugawa turbo and electronic boost controller. Then I will finally get it tuned and hopefully never spend any more on mods for it! Ideally I would like around 200-210kw at the wheels as an end result. Oh, and I do want a DAMD D style wheel eventually. And then that's it!

Looking good, nice mods - I love that you claim no more mods, and then in the SAME PARAGRAPH, go back on it and say you want a DAMD D style steering wheel. (and honestly - don't we all. I have trouble justifying $700 for a steering wheel that works fine and looks fine, but damn they are nice.)

Good luck with the self restraint :)
