Finished plasti-dipping and re-installing my AV panel today:

Added way too much silver metallizer hence the shit ton of sparkles. Not sure whether I like it more or less than the carbon wrap. Can't be assed doing it again though, so I guess the sparkles are staying.

DBA rotors also arrived:

Looks like its all happening Brad, should drive a lot better after all the suspension and brake upgrades. I'm not 100% on the spoiler, but its a bit hard to see properly in those pics

Thanks, Dan. I definitely think the spoiler looks better in person, and am happy with that purchase. One thing that is bugging me, though, is that it's just attached with double sided tape, and doesn't feel as secure as I would like; as well as making it "sit on top of" the trunk, as opposed to being part of it. Because it's sitting on top of the tape, there's actually room to kinda get your fingers between the spoiler and the trunk.

You wouldn't notice it unless you actually paid a little bit of attention, but as the anally retentive owner of the thing, it bugs me. It also occurred to me that someone could potentially rip the spoiler off without a great deal of trouble if they were so inclined.

Gave the car a wash today and thought I'd take some better pics with the spoiler fitted:

Thanks guys. Jarryd, the plan at the moment is to set aside the majority of next weekend to install everything bar the bushings with my dad. Then it's off to a shop for the bushings and an alignment

Tis looking good Brad, I like the spoiler. Keen to see how much power you get after a tune, see how much I lose through the auto tranny

Unfortunately I just found out my dad is away over the next 3 weekends for work, so that's kind of put a halt on things. I've decided to wait for him to get back rather than going to a shop or trying to do things myself, as I want to learn more about my car and how to work on it, as well as saving money, and I'm not brave enough to attempt this work on my own.

I'm thinking a celebratory cruise is in order once I've done all this and got a tune. Early in the new year is probably best as December always seems to be a busy time for everyone.

Decided to go ahead and attempt to install the Apexi filter by myself. Turns out it wasn't too difficult.

Took it for a quick 3 minute drive around the block; didn't notice any changes to engine performance or response, but I didn't push the engine at all. You can definitely hear the BOV (stock) after about 3k rpm though.

I'm no mechanical expert, but the louder BOV would be as a result of the turbo working harder, wouldn't it?
