The Liberty has gone to a good home in Qld and last week I took delivery of my new GT;

Very different beast and a lot of fun.

Awesome Michael! Congrats.

I recently drove the Ecoboost in the US for a week. Such a nice car... really want one. I'd imagine the GT is a step up from that and I LOVED the Ecoboost.

Think I might have spotted you, Glenelg South last Sunday (kinda near the Subi dealership). Could have been wrong, didn't see the plates but they were black and white.

Thanks Guys.

It certainly is different although it's still too green to have pushed it so hard as to have lost traction - yet!

The biggest difference is the linear power delivery compared to the (addictive) turbo rush. The trade-off is instant power that just continues to build the more it revs.

Dan, I will get to the track. I've entered the Kadina Copper Coast 500. It's basically a drag run on the airstrip over 500m. Sunday 1st May.

Next I'd like to get back out to Mallala on one of the Saturday practice days and then certainly a hillclimb at some time.

Chris, not me at Glenelg - sorry.
Michael.

Yep that's my car alright.

Thought it wasn't at first by the description (2008 STi) as it was a 2007 GTB with the STi bits I added, but once I saw the little Belkin bluetooth gadget I added in the interior shot and I know what the last owner had added - alas it was my old Liberty.
