Just figured I'd start one of these to have somewhere where everything is in one place. Currently nothing special... yet :)

I've got an OBP '08 LGT Spec-B, bought at 93,000km April 2013 and is now about 128,000km. Got the car from a dealer in the north island in immaculate condition - all bushings, boots and turbo are in top condition.
Plans for the car is get a little bit more power and handling out of it, but probably no turbo swap until the stock VF46 starts to go.

Current mods
Drivetrain:
  • GFB BOV - set to recirc
Exhaust:
  • Turbo Blanket
  • Xforce Dump Pipe (wrapped)
  • 3" Cat delete (wrapped)
  • Xforce axleback
Tune:
  • Cryotune Stage 2 e-tune - 194kW / 400Nm
Suspension & Wheels:
  • Swift springs
  • Spec-B shocks
  • Whiteline roll center and bump steer kit
  • Hawk HPS front + rear brake pads
  • Stock Spec-B 18" alloys with 215/45/18 Potenza S001
  • Enkei Raijin 18x8.5 in Hyper Silver - not yet installed
  • Whiteline 20mm adjustable rear sway bar
  • Kartboy Rear endlinks
  • AVO RSB reinforcement brackets
Exterior:
  • Debadged
  • LP protector painted matt black
  • RRev Type S trunk lip spoiler
  • Genuine Honeycomb Grille
Interior:
  • DAMD Steering Wheel
  • VBG1 (Vent boost gauge)
  • Sunroof mod 1 (fixes stock bugs with sunroof, enables single push close/close with ignition off etc)
  • Subaru AUX adaptor

Wishlist
  • Aero spats
  • ???

Input or advice is always appreciated!

Love the test pipe! I was very tempted to go down that route..but saying our EPA laws here in oz are a bit shit would be an understatement.

Cheers! We're a bit luckier here, if your car is MY2010+ and came factory with cats then you can't have them removed, so just slipped in under that.

Well... after a 45min drive then oil check, as soon as the hood closed the front emblem fell right off...

Good opportunity to sand and paint matt black though!

Have just completed my revisions for stage 2 e-tune by Cryotune. Best figures I've seen so far are 194kW and 402Nm at the wheels @ 18.2 psi (1.25 bar) - put the dyno graph on post #2.

Put a stock pull on the graph for comparison, huge improvement! +26kW and +90Nm (14% power and 23% torque increase).

Also have put a deposit in for a sunroof mod by a guy in the states, fixes the small annoyances from the stock motor - one touch to close, if open then you can press tilt up and it will close then tilt up, auto closes the sunroof when ignition is turned off etc.

Just got back from a trip to California - brought back: GFB BOV, swift springs and the KCA313 (whiteline roll center and bump steer kit).

Have installed the GFB BOV and set it to about 2/3 recirc - loving it!

Hope to install the springs and KCA313 in the next couple of weeks.

I looked for a speed shop when i was in California last year.. couldnt find any. Plenty of auto parts stores, but theyd be the equivalent of a repco here.

Howd you bring the springs back? Very heavy hand luggage hahaha

Ah forgot to update on that! I installed it last year, makes life just that bit easier with the one touch close and moving between open and tilt. Pretty sweet having the auto close with the ignition turned off.

Pretty tight squeeze getting the extra computer into the space above the sunroof controls, just managed to fit though.

Yeah I didn't see much in the way of auto stores there either. I got the springs from 7L Autosport who are advertising on NASIOC, and the whiteline kit from Infamous Performance, both are in the greater L.A. area.

Managed to squeeze the springs into checked baggage with as much protection as possible. I was helping my sister move back to NZ we had a heap of bags and could spread the weight out between them all. Air NZ were pretty lenient on the baggage weight - each spring was about 2-3kg i think.

I bet! one of the bags did get checked - they left a card saying that in the bag - and I could tell they'd undone the wrapping for the spring to have a look. I'd also stuffed the tie rods and ball joints from the whiteline gear inside the springs so would have looked even more suspect!

Pretty sure they had a look at the BOV too, the packaging was ripped up a bit.
