Thanks Matt.

Tried to install the CF tachometer hood but ran into a problem. It covers up these two screws which i might need to access later on if i want to change the SMD LEDs on the Tachometer, so i can have nice red needles.

So i just took some pictures with the CF sleeve slid into place and it looks purrdddyyy, not as harsh as i thought it would be on the eyes.

Just my luck.

The jap headlight washers are too long are protrude out the bumper.
Scratched the fuck out of my fender with a screwdriver from forcing those little tabs from the wheel guard lining.

only thing to cheer me up is GTA:V lol.. but thats gonna take a shit long time to install.

I JUST REALISED.

Japanparts sent me the wrong headlight washer and washer covers. They're for a post facelift gen 5 (squarish grille).. which explains why the washer covers are a different shape and why they stick out further than the bumper..... fuck

Inquiring into how this happened with Japanparts, as i did specify the year model of my liberty! :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:

Thanks Ed, sadly i wont be able to mount this on until i change the LEDs on the cluster. I guess i could always just slide it into place without sticking it on lol

They stuck out the bumper by this much.

With help from Leo, he modified the mounting points to end up with this.

Just posting up updated pics of the car from the last meet.

Thanks to Michael and Simon for the pics!

Bought a few more bits and bobs to put on the car. Summit rear strut brace.. can't get it on because i need a deep thin socket :(. Head unit to replace the shitty stock one. Whiteline rear camber bolts n bushings to dial out that ridiculous amount of camber in the rear. Kumho KU31 224/45/18 because i fucked my Pirelli's from not getting wheel alignment soon enough after lowering the coilovers and constantly running 40psi for daily driving. :|

Hey Eric,

Where did you get the Summit rear brace? Is it the one that sits under the boot board?

From OTR Motorsports
Yep, it sits underneath the floor boards. The floor boards might not fit perfectly afterwards, but mine never did anyway because of the damper needles on the coilovers, i think with a little bit of sanding down it might fit better.

Installed the rear strut brace today

You need to cut out notches in the foam pieces or just cut it off completely like Linc did lol
You'll also need some skinny deep sockets to screw the suspension nut back on because the of inconveniently designed strut plate

As you can see the floor boards dont sit flush, theyre raised up a little. But it didn't matter to me much, i've got the rubber mat covering the gap completely.
Went for a drive and could kinda feel it tightened up in the rear

I did say i wasnt gonna take anymore iphone photos haha.. but my camera wasnt with me today lol
