Clutch pressure plate rated 3200 lbs with Organic Exedy "racing" driven plate. :D

It will drive very much like stock but have plenty of bite when needed and the service life is apparently very good.

I have also been speaking with Jim over the last few days and it sounds like we're getting the same clutch! Have placed an order for an intercooled rapter SC as well, can't wait!

Yeah wow, Jims clutches are highly rated by lots of people. Ahh the beginning of another awesome H6 SC build, great work. :D

Ill be subscribing when u post a build thread.

Mini Update

Trip to Brissy n back on Sat went really well, Dads new 3.0R specB is immaculate so nice in white pearl.

Met and talked to Jim Berry for half hour or so, what a tops old fella he is, we could have talked all things cars all day.

And his race clutch looks like a work of art, final spec on the pressure plate was 3450lbs :D .

The Lib ran flawlessly all the way, even had a bit of fun on the south tweed freeway with a couple of GTS commos, nothing silly, think they mite have been
scratching there melons as to why they couldn't pull away from me :) .

E85 fuel economy was good I thought, 11.57lt/100kms for 795kms, probably around 90% cruising on the limit.

Comparison calculated back to 98, 8.9lt/100kms.

Overall im pretty happy with these figures considering the power the Lib is now pushing.

Please post ur thoughts lads.

Al, I finally have something for you, although the quality is shite and likeness to real time is a bit off.

Edited

Im still having a boost bleed off issue with the BOV, even with dual springs installed. Bum dyno suggests its about 90% atm. :(

The BOV outlet is presently plumbed to the air filter assembly as it should be. When the outlet is blocked its pulling 9.6-10psi. :D

Calling bullshit, sorry but you're a liar.

Noone has EVER been to Jim's shop and left within half an hour. Everyone knows to just cancel the entire afternoon if you visit him in the morning as fuck he's good for a chat. I've fallen in the trap twice and got out 6 hours later.

Have you sprayed the bov with soapy water?
They can leak from the sides, top, the flange: anywhere there's a join.

Oh dear, people that think they know everything about everything and only post when they want to critique.

Do u know any of the details of my trip to Brissy. No I didn't think so, "Noone has EVER been to Jim's shop and left within half an hour", I still haven't been there.

As for bagging me in my own thread, well im showing GREAT restraint here, just take a hike if u have nothing positive to say and print ur dribble somewhere else.

Have a nice day

bBb

No I haven't done this and thanx for the heads up, but as I said above when the BOV outlet is blocked the engine is getting full boost, so more than likely an issue
with the valve bleeding when plumbed to the air cleaner assembly.

Currently have the adjustment set 3 full turns back from tight. I will tighten it some more and c if that makes a difference, but im doubtful.
