Postby simon » Fri Mar 14, 2008 11:36 am

well. after looking at grills for my car i came to the conclusion that i didnt want to spend that sorta money. so i set out on making one myself. as i havnt done anything like this before it hasnt come out perfect, but im using this one as a practice and im gonna make another one and try and perfect it. its looks good from far, but its far from good. ill put up some pics and tell me what you think.
cheers,
simon

need some closer, clearer pics mate. Hard to tell what you have done to it from those shots. All good for the DIY though.

nah. i just cut a mesh profile, took off the existing grill, and put on the mesh n put on the emblem. im in the middle of working out how im going to line the outer edges of it. i think im going to use the same sort of black rubber that lines our side windows. heres some closer up pics.
tell us what you think.
