Well after a barrage of abuse from fellow Liberty owners I finally decided to get two new additions for my GT.

HiTech Dump pipe was fitted which when I drove it out of the shop was a VERY noticeable difference straight away. Heaps more responsive, sounds tough and goes well. (Approx $1000 fitted :lol:

)

A big thank to Louey for the Hyperflow TMIC :wink:

, I owe you one mate. Nice, shiny, double the size of the stock one. Also thanks to Phat for his help and wize words of wisdom, and making me want to mod my car more. (Next will be a turbo, but that will be a while)

I then went to see Paul at Pulse Racing again to get it retuned, and to check if any problems had occurred since last tune. All was running well, pulls hard even on a mid 30 degree day. Cost stuff all.

Hoping for possibly another 20kw atw with any luck. I will dyno the car in about 2 weeks when I get time and post the results.

Sounds great can I ask who made the dump pipe and their contact details as that sounds like a good deal as I'm looking at the following

- Dump Pipe
- HKS Silent
- ECUTek

And I'm hoping to hit about 175 atw

the web site doesnt show a dump pipe for the liberty so is it one from a wrx

It doesn't show it, but they have them custom made in their workshop specifically for the GT's (Manual and Auto).

When I get my pics Ill post a pic of it.

Hey Mick being a man of the law you do know that dump is illegal and the fine from what i understand can be up to $25000 as that dump lets exhaust gases bypass the cat ????
hence you are polluting the environment :shock:

Only when the turbo is making boost otherwise the wastegate will be closed
