So today was the big day. Exhaust went on, Intake on and the DAMD Steering wheel installed aswell.

First, the exhaust. Wow, sounds like a completely different car than before. The exhaust I would say is substantially quieter than the old MRT one. It also looks alot nicer I think, as though it was meant to be on the car originally. But the exhaust note sounds (I think) way different to any other rexxy I've ever heard. Its quite hard to explain in words, I might need to take a video or just have others listen to it so you can understand it. I am very happy with it though, and dad loves it too because it is quieter aswell which is somewhat of a bonus haha. To top it off, this may only be 1 of a very few number (potentially the only one) of cars in the country with this system fitted :)

Next, the intake. The noise this thing creates is amazing. The sound of the turbo spooling up is just fantastic. It also looks great in the engine bay aswell. Absolutely stoked with how the came out. Michael made up a custom intake pipe for me to match up with a blitz filter to use in the box rather than the HKS one which we decided not to purchase. The induction noise just makes me smile every time!

Finally the steering wheel. I am extremely surprised about how much of a difference this feels to drive with over the factory steering wheel. It has changed the driving experience I have found. The circumference of the steering wheel is less and so making turns seems to be easier and more precise. And it looks great in the car!

Tomorrow I will be getting the Cusco H brace, Power brace and Power steering rack brace installed and then that should be it for a while. Will hopefully get it retuned in the near future so the car will make the most of the new intake and exhaust.

Very nice mods mate

Loving the exhaust and steering wheel

I'm guessing it sounds like a mix between equal and unequal length exhaust setups

Yeah you are bang on about the sound. Inside the car it sounds alot like equal length headers.
I took an exhaust video yesterday, and when I listened to that it sounded like a UEL headers though...

I like it though, it sounds different to all the other exhausts I've heard before (however that could be simply because of the titanium mufflers and the way it all resonates).

So I had my 21st birthday on saturday, and discovered I have some seriously awesome friends!
They bought me a Blitz Racing Radiator Type ZS for my birthday and arranged to have it fitted up when I went in to get my front pads swapped on thursday.
Pretty stoked, as I had been looking as this mod for some time but had always decided to save for something else for one reason or another.

I bought Jeromes Zero Sports covers off him, and with some minor modifications made them fit, excluding the cover that sits just above the intake box which wouldnt go on without substantial modification (was tempting to go ahead with out, but decided against it in the end).

Very rough photo due to poor light, but here is a photo none the less.

Hope to see as many of you as possible down at the track day in 2 weeks!
