Havent looked at wheel worx.
But i know the enkeis youve pictured... already looked at them.
Although theyre similar, i dont love them. I think its because the spokes dont go all the way to the edge lip of the wheel.

Reckon you may have to dig deep to get the Rays or settle for a similar style.

I had already accepted i was buying the Rays... but im being told the colour i want is discontinued. So unless i can find a used set one day, ive hit a dead end

Oh right, now I get it. Dam dude. Yeah that's gotta suck. I would put it outta your mind for now until something comes up. No point putting yourself thru the grief if there is no solution.

Well the wheel saga continues.
There are still 7 of the Rays wheels I want remaining in existence, but they're a matte grey colour. So after searching the entire planet for another wheel I like, I found zero.
So the result is, I'm buying the wheels I want, in the wrong colour, and I'm going to get them painted the colour I want. So this is now a very expensive wheel!!

Well it could be worse. It could be NOT the wheel you want and paying just as much. Personally I think you will be happier knowing you are getting what you want rather than settling for something you dont.

“Tuned STi” has sent me a link to a set of used wheels in the colour I wanted with tyres.. they’re on a Japanese auction site.

I’ve spoken with Import Monster about bringing them in for me, which they’ve said they can. But the catch is, they won’t know if the wheels are still available for 4-24 hours.

This means I have to risk the 7 remaining brand new wheels in the wrong colour being sold while I wait. Im not a gambler, so this is terrifying… but im going for it! It will potentially save me $1500 if all goes to plan.

So everyone say a prayer for me!!

It really depends on how MUCH you want these wheels and if you actually need them that badly is what I mean.

Have you put coin on both bids?

No that's the thing.. they cant hold the ones int he wrong colour without full payment. Once full payment has been made I cant back out.

But anyway, ive decided to go for the used ones and risk it. If it pays off ill save enough money to buy coilovers!!

It has... but it was always a plan to lower the car anyway.
