Wow awesome result!
Congrats mate, are you happy with the auto mode/manual mode? What you wanted?

Hmmmm, Mick can weld and fabricate anything, I'm surprised he didn't fix the exhaust for you.
I remember he had to manipulate my mufflers to fit the X force Y pipe.
He stuck a big bar down the exhaust tip into the muffler and adjusted them to fit.
The standard mufflers were strong enough to handle it.
So you probably notice you have heaps more torque down low and the auto gets a bit confused about where the torque band is and changes down when you don't want it to? Manual mode fixes that.
Before the exhaust and tune, the top end was better. Do you find it the other way around now?

Yah I did.. I thought I told you that??
Anyway, I decided that my mostly city driving warranted the auto... plus not 1 manual wagon fitting my criteria came up in 5 months of looking. I love it though.. not as fun on twisties as I dont feel as connected, but ill learn how to drive it better and it will be fine.

I am trying to decide if I should go AT or MT for my next car, most of my driving is also start stop local traffic
peadya100 wrote:Its so good having an auto in traffic, but you need to wait and see which type of car you want to get. Some autos are pretty average. Some are great. Its a case by case basis I guess.
Do you know what type of car youd like next?

My wife's Golf GTI has DSG and I keep telling her that I wish my Lib had DSG.
Only thing it costs a bomb to service. DSG oil costs $70 a litre and gearbox needs 5 litres.
