Use hazzards when reversing, like truck do. I did that for around 6 months till i got around putting parts together and getting it done.

at least people around you know that you are up to something, it doesn't take them long to figure out your intentions.

my mech had done another car a couple of weeks earlier, and taken longer. this time he knew what to expect, and actually made a special tool for the job while doing mine. this ought to make it a lot easier for him next time.

Well after picking up the 19mm crowsfoot spanner end and a few extensions it took about 30 seconds to get it off. Easy with the right tools haha

Yeah I will definately be getting myself a set next trip to Darwin could come in very handy I imagine. So as soon as the new switch arrives which will be no earlier than wednesday I can start putting everything back together

Anything else I should be looking to upgrade or replace whilst the car is dismantled on the hoist?

All done and dusted reverse works like a charm can actually see the new leds now. Rev cam works too unbelievable haha

I had a metallic rattle in high rpm since putting cobb short shifter on took most of it apart and heatshrinked as best I could around the reverse lockout cable and sprayed adhesive silicone inside the shaft. Works as well as before and the rattle is completely gone. Pretty stoked although I slightly scratched my SI Drive knob which was painted will see my painter and find out whether its polish outable or respray

A productive day. A bit of exterior detailing. Was a bit warm but scored some shade so all good

Started with a double wash and then clay bar then polish and some PlastX to bring the headlights back a bit and then a wax with some tyre shine. Came up looking great. Interior is tomorrow not as intense just a leather condition and a general wipe down. Vacuumed it today so will save a bit of time. No pics as the sun was nearly down when I finished. A few paint blemishes from bat shit that are a lot less noticeable now. Ill take a few pics when I can

Finished the interior on Saturday which was waaaay too hot. Day off yesterday and today I stuck on some slimline weathershields which was easier than expected. Fits as all genuine items should am quite pleased with the outcome. Now the otr front lip is next hopefully I can find a quiet day at work and chuck it on the hoist
Took a few pics today. Ill throw em up for no reason as its stock as a rock in most respects

Nice one! I did my interior and engine bay this weekend... my too last favourite things to clean. Take some pics of the clean interior... love to see all that white trim when it's clean in daylight!

Looks great!
I don't know why, but the white trims look more subtle in daylight.. I like it!

Its weird now when I look at photos of others interiors seeing the stock grey and trying to remember when I was like that. I love it though

Finally put my OTR front lip on, ended up using the supplied 6 bolts and used an additional 12 bolts to flatten things out, with bolts and heatgun it came up good, i used nyloc nuts so they wouldnt rattle loose, when i got home i clamped the sides of the lip that were sticking out quite a way and then used the heatgun to soften it to take shape better, came up a treat....

Headlight restoration came up good, the lens wipes that come with the kit left it a little smeared or rather a 'wet' look if you will, itd look better 100% clear but im happy with it, whether i left the first lens base wipe to dry for too long im not sure but did my best and looks a hell of a lot better than what it did....
