Im cleaning them the long way as there are no sandblasting mobs here well any i would trust to do it right. So a lot of sweat went into cleaning these. I wanna smooth out the areas where i will apply the vinyls and give them an overall rough up for priming. Next week i should get the primer laid then downhill from there

Just the reflection on the shade sail. Just VHT black will be doing clear coat tomorrow and then adding letting them cure and adding vinyls. Hopefully will come up schmick. Strip and fit tyres soon along with all the rest of it. Has been good learning so far. Main thing i learnt was that the brake lines are on damn tight and the correct size spanner does absolutely nothing. Munched one of these with vice grips as it bent the rear side where it holds the line in place took a bit of head scratching but i got it eventually. Hopefully they wont need undoing or replacing after i stick these APP braided lines on haha

Well i was waiting for the paint to dry and thought i should be more productive so out comes the centre diff. Well this is as far as ive gotten but when time allows the case will be fully removed and the innards shall be gutted and replaced.

Trust me i felt like packing it in more than once.

Glad its nearly over just gotta roll guards and fit new rotors and pads and bleed the system. Then the new wheels can come out to play

Bled the system with help from the misses. My first time doing this and epic fail. There was heaps of air in the system and doing the rear right (2nd) brake i didn't take notice how fast the fluid was dropping and it went so low it was sucking air. So back i went and started all over again and seemed fine. I was a bit nervous about it today so decided to bleed it again and was still a fair amount of air in the rears. I hope im doing it properly and there is no more air

If there turns out to still be air it can always be removed yeah?

Correct. Its a matter of repeating the process until there is no air left.

Well the guards are rolled the arches all cleaned up. The brakes all fitted hoping they go alright as i used all factory shims and when bolted on am getting some rubbing of pad on rotor but ive never changed pads before so i have no idea if this is normal. The stock wheels are cleaned right up and about to be for sale hoping someone within the next fortnight from NT wants a set with tyres but i doubt it.

Am currently waiting on a tranny mount from tuspeed should be here this week. Bolt that on along with the crossmembers etc and should be driveable allowing for fluid recheck as its currently on a maad angle on chocks
