Looks good Daniel.
Have you upgraded lower control arm bushes or sway bars yet?

The tune should really make a difference to power and drivability.
Looking forward to seeing the dyno result.

I haven't upgraded the LCA bushes, but I'll be putting my rear swaybar on shortly as I just got my AVO HD mounts in the post last week. Looking forward to how it handles once thats on! :D

In other news, brakes weren't put on today as I had the wrong rear rotors and wrong front pads :x
So I had to go and pick up the correct rear rotors and front pads but they'll have to wait till friday now..

Tune is booked in tomorrow, pretty excited about that and to see the before and after results.

Dyno day:

Matt and Coyote put some hard yards in to fix my terrible knock and stock tune and clean up the AT and power curve.

Where the magic happens:

On the dyno:

Final result: Not a big power gain, but it feels like it with the better torque curve and without any knock

Pretty happy with the results, car feels like it has more power throughout the whole rev range and is more responsive now. Now for the new discs/pads tomorrow!

well done Daniel. As long as the tune is done safely and it feels better on the bum-o-meter, then it's a win situation.
Cheers

Coyote and Matt really know their stuff. Good result through and auto.
Keen to head out to Willowbank in late March or early April?

That dyno must be very conservative.
I would expect about 160kw+ from an exhaust and tune.
I suppose every dyno is different.

It is smack on what mine is, 130kw on rolling road.
Did a power push tune of 138kw but not that safe so went back to 130kw safe tune.

My mate's Supra did 837hp at the wheels on this dyno, but that was on e85......:)
I have heard from a few people that this dyno reads a little low, but meh, it all comes down to how it drives. The bit I like is it appears to still be increasing in power all the way to red line, which is a big thing for me. So frustrating going in a turbo car that runs out of urge.
A Coyote tune may cost a little more (I say 'may' as I don't know what other tunes costs to be honest), but for your money you get Tony and Matt Spry sitting in your car tuning it based on actual data presented to them on the day.
