My suggestion is to get the exhaust and tune done in one go. You'll be stoked. :)

Thanks mate for the advice.

Actually my profile is pending a major update. Just waiting on a couple more things from Garage 88, and for the weather not to be shite so I can wash my car and take some new pics.

Suffice to say I've already got almost ALL of my planned mods above (and more) dealt with already! Car looks, feels and sounds truly awesome now. Seriously felt like a new car when I got it back last week. :D

Will post updates soon...

Well done Michael, keen to see how she looks and goes now.

Update finally - been intending to post latest completed mods for a while but hadn't got around to taking any new photos until recently.

I got my car back from Garage 88 a few weeks ago with the below mods finished. Thanks to Michael & Garage 88 great work as usual. Feels like a new car!! :D

Completed mods
HKS dump pipe and cat
Fujitsubo front pipe
Fujitsubo Authorize R catback
Cusco Zero 2E coilovers
Cusco front and rear sway bars
Zero/Sports lightweight crank pulley
HKS LA clutch

Now just waiting on Michael to fit me in for the final mods to go on as below and dyno tuning.

Planned/Pending
Custom cold air intake with BLITZ S/S filter
TRUST GReddy blow off valve
Dyno tuning

Had to wait a while for the clutch as unfortunately the wrong type was sent initially. Since the stock clutch had already been removed before this was discovered, my car was sitting up on the hoist in the workshop for 2 weeks while we waited for the correct push type clutch to come in from Japan!

The wait was worth it though - the car feels completely transformed and I'm loving it.

Handling is amazing with the Cusco coilovers and swaybars. Feels completely flat through corners and grip is awesome (especially with the Michelin's). Exhaust note sounds really nice, and not too loud in my opinion (which is what I wanted). Small but noticeable increase in power (tuning will unlock the potential here). Clutch is very very nice.

Can't wait for the final mods and tuning. :)

Thanks Simon, feels and looks great.

I like the new ride height... looks just right. Don't want to go lower anyway as I'm finding I scrape occasionally already, especially around where I live! (not surprisingly, roads are shit here... just think of a quote from Back to the Future that they must subscribe to - "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.")

Well done on a great selection of parts mate

The tune will transform the car again

Who is doing the tune? Hopefully insight or Matt?

Mick

Going to get Scott at Insight to do the tune, since Michael's already been trying to organise this for me just after fitting the last of the mods.

I hate waiting in lines!!

I was actually booked in for the tune weeks ago, everything was supposed to be done and dusted in one go... but because of the problem with the clutch I missed my tuning booking! :angry2:

So I reckon I should get bumped up the waiting list!

Haha, don't worry I have... wonder who gets in first? The waiting is killing me (as I'm sure it does everyone)

I think I've seen you car over at G88 a few weeks ago in the parking lot, minus front bumper etc. ?

Great list of new mods Michael, car is sitting perfectly now :ok:

Are you considering an STi front lip to finish off the front?
