Noticed this when I got in the car to drive home from work tonight (obviously I didn't notice when I got to work this morning...)

Thought it was worthwhile taking a pic.

And then after going down the street a bit... :?

I'm sure I must have the highest K Gen V here....? :search:

Plenty more numbers to roll over in the future!

Your car had driven the circumference of the Earth 2.5 times. Haha

Congrats on the 100,000km. Gen V's don't have a temperature gauge?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

I average 35000 Km's a year, my oil light came on today, just in time for service and oil change.

No gauge, just a multi stage warning light... solid blue = cold, off = normal, blinking red = getting hot, solid red = you're fucked (I guess).

Not sure if I'd be comfortable with that light system... I'd install a gauge for sure. I'm too paranoid.

Small update - not really a mod as such but I guess it is a slight upgrade haha.

Decided it was time for a new battery. Picked this up a couple of weeks ago.

Installed :D

Car cranks over noticeably quicker and easier. My old battery was certainly getting tired I think (it was 4yrs old and I did flatten it not that long ago, since then it hasn't been the same even after a recondition... )

Now as much as I'd of liked to install some 900 CCA monster, I looked at a few others like Odyssey, Deka, Optima etc. but I couldn't justify the cost ($400 vs $150), plus the extra 10-15kg of weight that would be added to the front of my car!

So I settled on the 610 CCA Super Charge which seemed like a good compromise. :D

I fucking hate trucks and their fucking tyre re-tread shit left all over the highway!!! :angry2:

Coming home struck a massive tyre re-tread on the highway, totally unseen due to other cars running over it, has ripped off my number plate protector (gone who knows where), and left various marks on the front body work. Surprisingly STI lip is still attached.

But worst is it looks like my exhaust is damaged and now dented as the tyre debris rolled under my car! WFT!! :angry2:

Does anyone know what sort of issues this exhaust damage can cause?

Michael

It should be fine as long as there are no holes in the resonator….. best to get it on a hoist and take a closer look.

Btw it wouldn’t be too hard to order a replacement…… if I remember correctly you’re running the fuji system
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Thanks - it just looks dented, but I'll get Michael @ G88 to check it out, hopefully soon when my new brakes etc. turn up.

Yes it's the Fujitsubo Authorize R - I thought the resonator was part of the entire exhaust which to replace would mean the whole thing? $$$$$
