Yes it's the Fujitsubo Authorize R - I thought the resonator was part of the entire exhaust which to replace would mean the whole thing? $$$$$

It’s stainless……. Just cut and replace the resonator, unless of course the rest of the system is mangled.

Re: Member Profile - satogixxer's GT MY10 *new brakes + more

Postby satogixxer » Sun Dec 15, 2013 9:22 pm

So I have some new upgrades to report which were installed this week (my Christmas present to myself :D )

Finally brake upgrade has been done plus some other bits. So my brakes should no longer melt at track days.

New mods as follows

  • Brembo STI calipers front & rear in gold
  • Dixcel FS slotted front rotors with Dixcel type Z pads
  • Dixcel SD slotted rear rotors with Dixcel type ES pads
  • APP braided brake lines
  • KOYO all aluminium racing radiator
  • DAMD D-shaped steering wheel

The new brake package has made a huge improvement in braking (yet to be tested on a track day though), and I'm really loving the DAMD steering wheel (although turning the wheel >180 does feel a little odd due to the D shape and will take some getting used to I think).

My old DBA 4000 T3 slotted rotors will be up for sale in the for sale section (when I get around to taking some pics etc.) if anyone is interested.

Yeah, the stock wheel was starting to annoy me actually - felt too big, too thin and too smooth (hard to grip with sweaty hands for instance). The new wheel solves all these problems!
