Sorry guys, slack I know ! But I literally just went and did it :)
I've got a vid with the stock exhaust and now with the aftermarket to hear a comparison.
Just gotta figure out how to upload them :)

I think it sounds good for a cat back. I'll go headers and highflow cat eventually, open her up a bit :)

Damn you Jayraddd!! You and your tempting fkn video  That sounds well nice!
Does the car need a re-tune after having a cat-back installed?
If it does then I guess I'm kinda screwed

PS, the vid headings are back the front by the way. The top one is actually the after-market.

Fixed the headings, thanks :)

Haha sorry :P Sounds good driving too, not just revving. Much nicer note than the standard system that's for sure.
No re-tune required either for just the cat-back.
Pretty sure a tune is highly suggested if doing the entire system, i.e. headers, hi-flow cat, cat back.

There are no sensors post-cat so you won't need a tune. The change in pressure is negligible and apparently the Hitachi ECUs can't be tuned anyway. Most of the gains are only in sound. I'm getting mufflers fitted next week :)

Yeah I wish I had've known that about Hitachi's before I bought it. But then again I did get a ridiculously good deal so probs would've still gone ahead...
Enjoy the new exhaust man. Post up a response here if they sound as good in the flesh as Jayraddd's vid yeah?

I'm only changing the mufflers so it'll be the same note as from factory, just louder.

How'd you go with the new mufflers man ? You likey ?

I've noticed this afternoon I'm getting a fair bit of crackle out of the exhaust when I rev it now.. at first there was none, but now you cant miss it.
Sounds pretty mean now when it warms up while driving around. Must be pretty well worn in now.

Once the Headers and Hi-Flow Cat are on it will sounds sick =] Pity it's just an N/A :P

Haha it's good, mate! The only issue is that something around the engine bay is rattling in 2nd gear at 1500-2000 RPM so I'll need to get that fixed before go for my next sprint. I think the crackle is really subtle at the moment so hopefully it will improve :P
