Ah sorry mate. The Anti-Lift Kit (ALK) is basically a set of bushes, different designs for different cars, that work to give you more (0.5 degrees in most cases) positive caster, i.e. the tilting the strut towards the front of the car. It came about as a response to WRX power-understeer and has a direct effect on dynamic camber (how much the wheel tilts) when turning a corner. Without getting all James May on you and explaining suspension physics it's a good thing. Subaru actually made a mod to the STi Imprezas based on this product.

Basic Caster Explanation

Basic Camber Explanation

It is Wikipedia so written by wannabe professors but it gives you the basic idea

I just remembered last night that the setup in the Spec B and the STi shocks was different. The STi was stiffer than the standard Spec B but I can't remember if it was different springs or valving as I don't have the part numbers to compare. If someone has the numbers that'll tell you the differences. There was an STi optional lowering kit that dropped the car 15mm from memory.

Either way a Bilstein/spring combo is going to do what you want at for less outlay than coilovers

reminds me of when my car was fully stock and the first thing I got was exhausts. I have the same setup as you. How do you like the sound?

Sound is great, nothing over the top. Plus no annoying highway drone. Sounds sweet through the lower gears :)

Todays DIY was painting the stock grill matt black. Kept the external ring chrome then painted the wings and internals of the grill. Not a major changed but looks that little more sexier :P
