Hey guys, I figured it was about time to post my car up, after months of drooling over all of your sweet ones, and months of me deciding whether or not to do stuff to my car, I thought the smartest and more logical answer would be YES.

Just to clarify, I'm your typical young and naive teen, who was originally going to be a VX Commodore

General Bio: Name's Alex, I'm from Newcastle, up the coast of Sydney. I manage a McDonald's restaurant (thus why the car takes its sweet time to progress because I'm always working) and I've loved cars since I was a wee little boy. I also build burnout cars and we enter them in burnout festivals/ comps such as Summernats, Kandos etc.

I drive a 2007 Subaru Liberty Sedan 2.5i, the car is Deep Sea Blue Pearl (and a bitch to clean at that). It was bought fully stock with not a thing done to it.

My Mods aren't that exciting to some of your insane ones, but I pride myself in sleek and clean modding, nothing that stands out but when people look at it they love it.

Nice tidy ride for a p plater.

Post some more pics of your car to show off those wheels. I'm toying with the idea of changing my wheels to what you have

thank dude, a lot of people ask me why I chose white, but personally what other colour would've suited it, black is too dark for navy blue, chrome isn't really my cup of tea unless on an import of some description.

Very clean, and IMO a much better first-car than a Commodore for a P-Plater, safety-wise.

I have to say that the wheels aren't my cup of tea either. Maybe just repaint them? The design of them isn't bad - it's just the colour.

Lots of other small functional mods you can consider too - brake upgrades (you've already got the lines penned, also consider bigger discs and calipers if you're a hard driver), swaybars, tuning, lightened crank pulley, etc. Note that for any engine mods, you'll only get the best out of them with a tune.

Well done on the clean and tidy mods today

Also - irrespective of it being n/a, don't say the mods aren't as exciting as others - it's the dedication and passion that's important, both of which you clearly have in large amounts! Keep it up mate

I will make a suggestion though - I personally don't think headers are worth the cost. Modern oem headers flow relatively well, and for the cost vs benefit of installing headers, I reckon you could put the money to other things

All the same good luck with it mate - great start so far

Mick

Mate .... What a first car!!! Awesome work.!

My first car was a $800 1984 mazda 929 that was baby poo brown with poo brown interior.... So it was a shit box.

Sound 'tuff' with my exhaust and full hektik stereo that was worth more then the car!!

But i would still buy another one today as i have a soft spot for them.!!
Just memories i think!!

And i love the look white wheels and all. Just needs more low.... Then buy a smashed spec b or so when you can and change all the good bits over and you will have a rockin car big time.!!

Nice car!

Headers and a tune will make a huge gain, improve fuel economy plus remove the horrible factory throttle lag ;)

People say yes to headers and people say no... head up to Newcastle and you got yourself a lot of customers :P
