I don't think a pad exists what does what you want it and has no dust. I think the dust goes hand in hand with performance braking. It's more which is the lesser of the evils. I reckon the Intima SR pad is worth a shot. It will still have dust but I reckon it will better than the Stoptech's which I agree were shocking with the amount of dust it produced. Just read on the website that they rated to 700deg which should suit your needs perfectly. They also claim 'low dust' http://www.intima.net.au/sr_pads.php

I also totally recommend the T2 or T3 slotted rotors. By far the best rotor I have bought. Should help clean off pads as you mentioned.

Funny thing is that stoptech also says Low dust on their website http://www.stoptech.com/products/brake-pads  That's reaching a bit.
But I think you might be right. Intima SR with some T3s might be the go in my case.

haha. It's all trial and error in the end. Some companies will say anything to get a sale.

Ok I need help here. Looking to get wheels this week but finding it hard to choose.

Option 1:
Ultrex RS matt black - 18x8 +42 - $649set + postage + $100 for forged nuts
Image

Option 2:
ROH Korsa matt black
- 19x8 +45 (bob jane deal) $956 (nuts included)
- 18x8 +45 (bob jane deal) $876 (nuts included)
Image

Option 3:
Speedy Carbine suede black 18x8 +45 (price not known but assume similar to ROH Korsa)
Image

Option 4:
Rota's of some sort in hyper black or matt black +44 $1098 with postage
(you all know what rotas look like)
http://www.rotawheels.com.au/wheels

Bear in mind the front of my car looks like this.
Image

Now I know price is a big persuading factor. But Im not the one to sacrifice looks to save a few pennies if I know another wheel will suit the car better. Keep also in mind, that I plan on fitting the stock springs back in. (I know I know, the mrs is on my back about it  ) I want the car to look as good as it can, fill up the wheel arches and still feel comfortable on the road. Tyre sizes will be 225/45 in an 18" or 40 in a 19" size wheel.

I know Ive been procrastinating about this for months, but it's crunch time and these are the wheels I like the most based on the look I want which it the blacked out look.
Cheers

Thanks guys.

Ultrex - 1
ROH - 2

I like the ROH's purely because they look different and nobody really has them yet. I also like the RS Ultrex rims too but a lot of people have them already too. I'd like something a little more unique design wise.
Cheers

I'll say rota gravels too.
However with stock springs I think 19s would look great and won't kill your ride too badly.

I vote the ultrex wheels. Not a fan of the roh design so second for me would be rotas then the speedys as third.

I agree that the price of the ultrex wheels is awesome too

Ultrex look good and good price. You'll want 235 wide tyres for 8" rims though. So probably 40 profile max on the 18s and 35 on the 19s.

My only problem with the ROH Korsa is that it looks like something you would find on a Falcodore if you know what I mean.

I'd go with one of the other radial spoke options. Or I'd look to find some Enkei STI wheels and get them painted. I know the STI wheels have been done to death but I still think they look pretty good and not something you see in black all that often.

A couple of pictures of charcoal/black on black....

This one looks like it's running at stock height:

I think Ultrex. Personally I prefer the spokes to finish before the edge of the rim if you know what I mean. The Ultrex are just a classic design. I would probably go Rotas after that. That is based purely on design with no regard for quality or price :).
