I do and the oem ones look good and they serve a purpose. Have you got a lot of chips down doors and wheel arches ?

I despise mud flaps, please don't put them back on, it will completely ruin the clean look of the car IMO. If you ever drive through construction or on gravel roads just go slow

Also you are pumping through pages in this thread, 4 pages since the new wheels

Did I mention I hate mud flaps? ;)

True, although for the average car the small number of stonechips you'll get would be negligible compared to trolley dints and getting doored :)

its food for thought, thanks guys. i took them off because of the reasons Bryce mentioned. i was never a fan of mudflaps and if i must go over gravel i go at a snails pace or take the mrs car. i will think about it still before i get paint done
Cheers

looking really good Shav, wheels are looking tough.. I'm interested to see what you end up down suspension-wise. I'm in a similar situation and keep putting things off.. Wouldn't mind possibly seeing your set up in person at some stage? Just to compare a bit..
Keep it up though, looking good

No love for mudflaps? They allow you to do the best thing that you can do with any Subaru - to go fast and sideways on dirt! ;)

I find the Liberty mudflaps to be quite non-intrusive, and they are surprisingly effective. Remember stonechips can come from tarmac roads too.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

+1 New wheels look great.

Also would be good to arrange an Adelaide catch-up at some stage to talk cars.

On a raised wrx or a 4wd yeah I think they look good. On a lowered car like shavs, absolutely not

Hey guys,

Happy for an SA catch up at some point. Appreciate the kind words also.

As for the suspension. It's still up for debate. Something has to happen, as to what and how much is the big question.
Cheers
