Well after getting caught up in life like usual, I have finally returned the car to stock and last Thursday put a deposit down on my 18th birthday present to myself :)

I'm very excited to say that pending an RACQ mechanical inspection, this 2006 WRX Club Spec 9 is mine :) From the safety pack Lib it is a huge upgrade. The Club Spec comes with leather, a sunroof, climate control, a short shift kit and sports pedals which make the step from a Lib into a WRX not so depressing. The exterior obviously has the CS9 wheels, lip, and STI suspension, and obviously the power is on another level to the NA 2.5 :D It took me forever to find one, there are only 300 of them and they only came in black and blue so it was hard to find one in the condition I wanted. Patience won out and I finally found this one, however we'll see how long I last before I get sick of the black car/black leather combination and exorbitant insurance costs  However at this stage I'm very much in love with it and can't wait to pick it up!

My Lib is now for sale and I have spent a bit of money making it absolutely perfect - whoever buys it will have a fantastic car, and I will miss it very much :(
I will probably still hang around a bit and post the updates on this car - from what I've seen I don't think I'll be a fan of Rexnet...

If you can hold back the temptation do it!
Insurance is 3 times what the Liberty is.
But hey, I have a turbo, leather seats and it's exactly what I want so it's worth it I think :D

Thanks guys!

Yeah I will probably hover around Subyclub but unfortunately Rexnet has a lot of info on common issues like the wonderful Brant alarm system so I will probably have I post there a bit.

Yeah once I get the exemption sorted I'll bring it along to a cruise :D
