How'd the remote tune work for you? Easy enough to get through it all?

Also rear sway, links and lift kit make a huge difference! All mine are installed now and corners are so much fun :D
Now you have the power, you need the car to handle.

Done in person while I was in Perth :)

Another trip perhaps? ;)

bezza! Yeh as Matt mentioned it was a road tune. Can't recommend him enough! Yup. Been talking to Taylor about handling mods. Will probably do sways first.

shav: thanks mate. I'll b following your cosmetic mods closely since we have the same colour :) I find it harder to match wheels on this colour

ciand: thank you! And i see you went for twin tips eh? :) how are the HIDs at 5000? Any reason for taking them over the 6000?

yeeep twin tips - 70% for the look and 30% for the sound ahha, should be changing some of the stock exhaust piping soon too. 5000K are good, just the right amount of white! dont think ill make the drop to 4300, but i would maybe consider the 6000 if they arent too 'blueish'

I'll be keeping any cosmetic mods minimal as I am after the stealth approach mate. Probably do the Ultrex lip like yours, redo the tint to match front and rear, and keep the car clean. I personally prefer the Spec B rims. I know it sounds boring but I really do like the rims. As far as lowering is concerned I'm not sure I want to go lower. Its real comfortable as it is. The sways, and LCA bushes is definitely a must do to reduce body roll and understeer. But yeah not going too far with the cosmetics. Although I do like your angel eye head lights. They are sweet.
Cheers
Shav

Update:

Focal Utopias installed. These are 7 years old but heck they sound bloody good for what I paid for them. Dynamatted front doors and rear parcel shelf.

OEM Nav installed. Works and map updated. But no audio and engine data as I was missing the other end of the cables - from the McIntosh HU and the OBD or whatever you call the thing that sends the engine or car data across. anyone kmows where to get this? If the Nav thing gets sorted I'll probably get an alpine reverse camera installed and parrot's i9200.

Next - sways and springs. Really tempting. Body roll is just a bit much at the corners (I'm running stock GTB setup). Taylor has done his part in convincing me re Whitelines. Although blue bits do look the goods hahahaa. Kings are tempting too. More for aesthetics.

Decisions decisions. Objective - I don't see myself doing track work (time is a big issue and etc). Nor do I see myself chasing bigger numbers. Matt worked his magic and I'm super contented as it is. Am running stock GTB suspension setup and brakes.

I suspect I'll be mostly doing a few more cosmetics here and there.

Suggestions?

Hey Patrick!

If you do change your suspension... dibs on your Billsteins! hahaha!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Haha. $$. i quite like the enkei sti's... But the AUDM ones are 7.5's rather than 8 - how nice would be 8's LOL.

Being a grey car i find it's harder to match wheels up. Seems like the silver-ish colors work nicer with grey. Somehow black wheels on grey seems odd. What do you think James. You're the creative type :)

Sure thing Dan but if I do change anything it'll probably be just springs. Coils are nice but $$... Will say no haha

Do rims definitely. Possibly the easiest way to set your car apart from other specB's on the road IMO.

Like your choice of the Takuma too ;)
They look like a really nice rim!
