Awesome so far mate. Gave them a bit of a work out before and they definitely have a nice bite on them even when cold. The last test will be lasting a week without colouring my wheels charcoal, gave them a nice clean today :)

Yeah I was having that problem with the old ones in the pictures - not sure on brand though.

This weekend I'll be taking out the pads on one side to check how they are going and making sure I put them in right. I'll take a couple of pix of the actual pads and post them up!

Had a go at tinting the mars tail lights I got cheap off ebay. A couple of hours down and I finished one....
Not something I would recommend to everyone it is a pain in the butt to get right, I have this one almost perfect (sorry about the crap iphone quality) but there are a few air bubbles around and some small left over water bubbles which Im hoping will clear after a couple of days... I plan on doing the passenger side one tomorrow which Im hoping wont take as long and I decided on using the spray tint to do the blinker area... The film was cheap as off ebay and of pretty decent quality, took like 3 weeks to get here from china though :( .

Yeah a fair bit, you do need it or a heat gun for sure, it did the job though :D

I used a spray bottle with water and a small amount of soap and I sprayed both the tint and the surface so you can move it around/remove if you need to. You then heat it enough so it distorts and you move it around to get bubbles/creases out. I found using my fingers worked better then a card. Such a pain of a job

No problems, mine turned out okay - Im kinda happy with them, the tint still has a few bubbles and creases that I couldn't get out. But like the rest of some other parts of my car - it looks good from a distance

I ordered a AnyCar link 1080D today too, so sick of canberra radio and the urge to buy CDs

RE: brake dust, I couldnt really tell if my rims got dirty from the pads cause of the crap weather canberra has had the last week and my car gets so dirty when its parked under the carport, but they are noticeably quiet and have really good bite cold or hot.... here are some brake pads picks:
