Hey,
After a year of being a member and mostly just lurking and attending a couple of the SA cruises with some mods in the works, I thought it about time to make one of these.

Car: MY06 2.5l Safety Pack in black

Mods:
White line front / rear adjustable sway bars
K&N Panel Filter with resonator delete
All bushes change to whiteline part inc ALK, positive shift and alike
WRX 4/2 pot brakes with Project Mu Spec B for pads, DBA steet series fronts slotted and stock wrx rda rear rotors

Not much else will occur to this car, Building my first house with the gf so all funds sucked away unless something needs replacing then it will be upgraded.

Nice.

Braided lines, pads and fluid will see a great braking improvement over oem.

Thanks,

was going to try and get my hands on a set of gt calipers with slotted rotors, good pads and fluid for just the extra braking power

GT calipers are a nice upgrade.

I would definitely do braided lines at the same time....

I think braided lines are wank factor unless you're tracking a car. If the stock lines are leaking, then yes I would upgrade to braided whilst I was at it but until then the stock ones are fine. A brake stopper will give alot better performance than braided lines.

Especially if you were getting brake fade as much as me! I boiled mine a few times on the cruise. Oopsi?

I have to politely disagree.

I fitted Gen 4 GTB brakes to my previous Gen2 Legacy GT and a master cylinder stopper at the same time. The upgrade was good.

Fitted braided lines shortly after and the difference was immense. My original lines didnt leak.

OEM rubber lines expand under heavy braking whether new or old, braided lines do not.

Wow with the WL gear!
How did you manage to get the brakes smoking?
I've done it to the clutch a couple of times but...

Smoked up the brakes on one of the SA cruses, some of the roads get fairly twisty and im a rather late braker i guess. didnt smell too great but was good fun

Love those SA twisties!
I have the habit of using rev matching to assist braking up and down hills...
