Im curious to know the power gains just by bolting it on. I can't justify the cost of a dyno run just for that, so I'll let my pants-dyno tell me.

Turbo whine is MUCH louder.
I swear the turbo spool is much earlier too; it's hard to tell empirically without a boost gauge though!
I haven't reset the ECU.
No comment on fuel economy as of yet.

Posted: Thu Jan 10, 2008 7:06 amIt's harder than I expected to do a back-to-back test before and after without a boost gauge and a dyno reading, to be honest. It feels like it revs a bit easier, but if you look at the stock DP, there's actually no provision for the wastegate gases to flow, the flange is virtually blanked off. I suspect that will help hould boost.
