Also your new car I'm sure will be a monster in the coming months, look forward to seeing where you go with it.

Hey Kieran, long time no speak! The car isn't detailed. We have a nice pressure washer at work so I just wash it regularly.

I have a Chargespeed Bottomline kit and MCA Red coilovers sitting here for it already. I'm waiting for the full Varis bodykit before I decide on wheels though.

How is the size of the current WRX compared to the 4Gen Liberty? I know the Impreza has grown - are they close?

BL9 Liberty
Length - 4665mm
Width - 1730mm
Height - 2425mm
Wheelbase - 2670mm
Front track - 1495mm
Rear track - 1490mm
Kerb weight - 1545kg

VAB STi
Length - 4595mm
Width - 1795mm
Height - 1475mm
Wheelbase - 2650mm
Front track - 1530mm
Rear track - 1540mm
Kerb weight - 1525kg

The STI is slightly wider and taller but the chassis technology is awesome. It's only a 20kg difference between the two but I never feel like the STI is too heavy, whereas the Lib felt like a boat in comparison.

That's an awesome comparison. Just goes to show the smallest things can make the biggest difference.

The biggest shock i found was the interior room... there is more seating room both front and rear in the new wrx's than my old 4th gen sedan.

There was no chance i could fit behind a front seat with it all the way back in the gen 4. But in my new sti i can fit behind myself the drivers seat when its set all the way back! plus the boot is huge!
