Small update to report.

Wallet is A LOT lighter after 100k service couple weeks back.
Car does feel super solid now after the service.

Was told needed new front rotors, so DBA T3 slotteds have been ordered and also some project mu ns400 pads all round to go with the new rotors.

Now onto the semi exciting bit
While I have to take the wheels off and front rotors, I am going to update my brembo colours.
I'm thinking yellow, lime green or subaru gold.

Any other ideas? Wanting them to pop a little now my car is predominantly dark now so leaning towards the green :)

Saw the lads working on your beast the other day, while I was by teeing up some 'stuff'

Looks mean, calipers same colour as body?? To retain the stealth look, just a thought.

Lime green... now thats different! And would look pretty awesome!! Same with yellow! :D
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

You're a sneaky guy J, always planning something :p
Really wanting something to pop from the stealth look, more a bold highlight on the car behind the dark wheels.

My preference is green, but lack of ready to spray packs in that colour most likely means yellow VHT it will be.

Anyone know where in Perth I can get high temp paint mixed up?

There's a shop in Balcatta that might be worth paying a visit.
220 Balcatta Road iirc.
It's opposite Pickles and right next to the traffic lights.

Well decided to finally get around to winyl wrapping the grille last night. My skills need a lot of work so it probably wont last very long before needing to be ripped off. Thinking of taking a more permanent approach next time and getting it sprayed along with a few other parts of the car (mud flaps and possibly rear chrome garnish).

Also this morning took to changing my front rotors. DBA T3 slotted are now on with Project Mu pads. Car definitly pulls up on a dime now! Really feel yourself pushing into seatbelt

Little tip/trick to note for anyone changing rotors out there: The bolts holding your brake lines to the shocks are correct sizing for the thread holes on the rotor to seperate from the hub when seized.
My left rotor would not budge at all and afting much cursing, swearing and looking for a bolt in the shed to suit, brain wave it and whala, it worked!

Now we all know posts are boring without pictures so after a nice wash and wax, pictures below.
(Sorry only icrap quality. Really need to organise a shoot for the car somewhere nice)

Smart man Cruisn
Any suggestion from the brembo master on colour to re-paint them? Wanting something that will stand out.

From minimal driving since install, in short, no.
Haven't heard a peep from them :D

LIttle update. Car is now tuned :D

Late night fun with Matt last night tuning the car after work.
He loaded the rom and said with a little smile "forget the car you knew", how true he was!!!

I knew there would be a difference but it really is night and day from stock! Power comes on much more linear and a tone earlier, just builds and builds instead of a massive "jolt" and taper off. Loving the new found torque right across the range :D

Very very happy right now, already wanting more power though

Thanks again Matt, big thumbs up for the tune :good:
