Late night fun with Matt last night tuning the car after work.
He loaded the rom and said with a little smile "forget the car you knew", how true he was!!!

I knew there would be a difference but it really is night and day from stock! Power comes on much more linear and a tone earlier, just builds and builds instead of a massive "jolt" and taper off. Loving the new found torque right across the range :D

Very very happy right now, already wanting more power though

Thanks again Matt, big thumbs up for the tune :good:

You have to take me for a spin!!!!! very happy for you ian :)

Thanks Daniel.
Going to get new rims hopefully shortly so most likely will leave the brembos as is. Only reason for a change was because I wanted to contrast with the current wheels, getting over the dark on dark look.

Re: Member Profile - Bezzza - Rim advice wanted!!!

Postby Bezzza » Thu Dec 26, 2013 1:16 am

Alright decided on getting new rims for the wagon.
Enkei RPF1 in 18x8, brill silver.

My question to those in the know is should I go with +35 or +45 offset?
What work for the guards will be required with a 35 offset? This offset is my preference.
Not really looking for the CRAZY stance look, just fill the guards out nicely with a slight bit of camber all round.

Will be running 225/40 rubber on these for the time being.

FYI I have 18x8 +42's and they fill the guards great, fronts are dead on so I think you will find +35's will stick out too far
you'll be better off going with the +45's

Nooooooo!!! If you're going for an 8 inch wheel, +35 is the offset you want. Check out bosco's wagon.

8.5" +45 has gotta be way less hassle all round with more potential for wider tyres, more neutral camber and lower ride heights.

But 8" +35 ask Bosco and Owen...

This and what Ryan said. 8.5" can allow you to run a nice meaty 235 tyre too :)
