Makes a pretty nice understated sound, lol probably should have been a bit higher up on your mod list. Next step is CAI :)

Yeah I'm happy with the resonator removal, I thought about getting a spare fog light surround drilling out some holes and and connecting the hose up to it and the bottom of the air box.

Is there any type of piping that is exactly the length to get it right rather than going for a cheap shit pipe?

i hear pvc is all the rage, bunnings has some.

also depending on the pipe type you choose and length it makes a different sound. I tried resonator gone, pvc and some tin pipe... pvc was the best sound lol.

I like the idea of the fog light air duct. Not sure about any noticeable performance gains, but it just looks so cool!

I will post up some pics when it's done including install.

I'm not sure if it will add any performance but more air couldn't hurt.

It's been a while since ive updated. So today I've installed the cold air intake from the fog light to the hole where the resonator used to be.

Assessment: im happy with it, In terms of performance I don't think there is any but the exhaust note is a little deeper.
The downside: the induction sound and blow of valve sound I had after removing the resonator is quieter now. So doesnt sound as cool but this can only be better for my fuel economy...and less chance of getting a speeding ticket.

I've only taken it for a quick 5 minute spin but that's my view so far..

Another mod I have undertaken Is to vinyl wrap the wings on the grill...
More than happy with it.

I'll put up some pics eventually.

After driving the car around for a week with the foggie CAI I have decided to remove it. Simply I prefer the induction sound
And the bov sound without it.

Additionally I have thrown up a couple of photos.

Avo dump pipe/down pipe fitted. It's got a shit load more growl under acceleration.

Guzzles the fuel too.
I think the tune will be done sooner. As long as someone buys my car.

Nice one. It's amazing the difference that a dump pipe makes :)

Some sauce to go with your AVO dump pie because that doesn't sound like a very tasty pie on its own.

silicon smilicon.

tune is 900?... so you actually have 1600 to play with.

you dont want rims or a bumpier ride till you get posted to forster ;)

sooo... That leaves you with sway bar (220), brakes (650) just front discs and pads, and a bigger topmount (900) at a stretch?

unless you save a bit more and get a new turbo and tune?

Yeah realised that need to get a cat put in on that dump pipe.
Hopefully will stop it and the carbon on the back
