Craig! haven't seen you in ages. Still remember you trying to do burnouts after work one day. Good times!

ha ha I was looking at heading down to check this car out as I really wanted a white one as well but unfortunately my life got in the way, and I have now ended up in a diamond grey one, which will suit my aesthetic mods more :)

Hope you can get that noise sorted, seems to have struck a few forum owners.

On Thursday I took my car to subaru for the second time after they couldn't hear the knocking noise I was experiencing.
So I ended up driving the car for 1 hour and then went to subaru.

After driving for 10 minutes he couldn't hear a thing until I done circles with my left lock on.
Doug from Moree Subaru is thinking it may be cv's and asked the advice of an Sti mechanic. Not sure if it was any of you guys.

As a result I am booked in again on Wednesday to have my left/ right cv's changed over. This is in an attempt to rule out the cvs being the problem. Will post how it goes.

After some opinions.

Im looking at wrapping the grill (the chrome wings only)
Wondering if I should use matte wrap or carbon wrap.

I was thinking or doing a wrap around the bonnet scoop aswell, however I'm not sure how it would look.

What do you guys think?

Not sure the bonnet scoop would look good, but it'd be a good effort if you can wrap it with one piece!

I did my wings with this cheap stuff. Surprisingly good quality.

I had the same idea on the grill but plan to use carbon wrap. Your grill turned out great Daniel!
I'd be interested to see the bonnet scoop done. I think it'd be quite a difficult job to wrap with all the curves, but if you've got the time, why not; it's removable if you don't like it :D

So yours is obviously the matte finish.
I'm thinking the matte will contrast better with white than the carbon would so I might go that.

How did you negotiate the ridges on the top of the wing?

And Do you remember the length of the sheet required?

Yeah, I personally hate the fake carbon fibre stuff so it wasn't touching my car :P The matte matches the black plastic on the rest of the grille so I'm very happy with it.

Just heated it up a bit to soften it, then with a piece of cloth rubbed it down into the grooves as it cooled. Came out surprisingly well. I also did the lower bit of my bar.

Yeah sweet,
I think I can see the bar you talking about (behind the number plate)

Wat size sheet did you end up getting?

Yeah, here's another pic. This exact item is what I bought. Way bigger than I needed but it's only $8 :P
