JDM ABS and battery covers  also dusty engine bay is dusty, needs a good wipe down. Don't ask how I got the ABS cover's rear clip on with the Cusco master stopper in the way :angry2:

Need to get me some of these ASAP, makes the engine bay look so much neater I reckon!

Looking the goods :good:

Thanks mate, it's the little things like these which add a bit of class to the engine bay. Just need to pull my finger out and give it a good clean!

I had the same problem. It wasn't THAT hard. About 5 mins of frustration, then all good :D

Looks great! :good:

Was innocently looking at tyres on google when I stumbled upon a Xmas deal I couldn't refuse… I remember doing a fair amount of research on Tirerack.com and seeing the P-Zeros highly recommended but was put off the price (usually retails around $400 a tyre).

So, 4 new Pirelli P-Zeros are on their way to me (and for under $300 a tyre including free fitting). Thank you Ozzytyres!

Merry Christmas everyone

Big update!

I have decided it's time for a new car - picked it up in Melbourne yesterday morning, and drove it back to Sydney arriving last night :)

The lib will be parted back to stock over the next month or so, and then sold. I'll keep checking the forum periodically but doesn't mean I'm going completely, far too awesome of a forum to leave

Looking forward to see where my mod bug will take this new sucker

Thanks Simon :)

In terms of the new car, specs below:

2000 Series 2 JZX100 Toyota Chaser (with the legendary VVTi 1JZ-GTE!)
Factory R154 manual (pretty rare given most are auto)
Series 2 aero lip kit
Custom FMIC and hard piping
3" TBE, with an HKS silent power cat-back
HKS SSQV BOV
HKS Turbo Timer (bit of a gimmick really)
Cusco strut brace
Apexi Power FC
BC V1 coilovers
Work XD9 18x9 +30 matt bronze wheels all round (225/40s front, 235/40s rear)
Solid diff mounts
Tuned at 209rwkW @ 14psi on the stock CT15B turbo.

In terms of mods, ultimately will be upgrading to a bigger turbo (GTX3076 most likely) but still umming and ahhing about whether to keep it low mount or do a high-mount set up with a 6boost manifold :)

Clutch feels a bit old and spongy, shifter bushings are f*cked and needs a wheel alignment pretty bad haha. I'll do the clutch when I do the turbo so will be a big hit to the wallet…

For now though, time to enjoy it!
