mick ordered the type 118 - http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info ... ec5cb18c43

it has no fan, wasn't worth it, we just butted up the WTA radiator to the stock radiator, and switch the fans to come on early & more frequent..

I reckon you hit it up...you won't regret it...

Hey Jackson

I saw a few of the subies that Mick modifies has water to air intercoolers including his own 2 door STI.

Mick told me the Libertys are very hard to do as there isn't the same grill space for colling as the WRX's.

Was it had to install and do you notice much of a difference over the Air to Air intercooler?

I'll be totally honest Jackson, you have a nice car with great mods and then let it down with sub standard wheels. My opinion though.

If you spend X amount on power mods, then surely you can spring the extra for the real deal on the rolling stock.

yeah the liberty's don't have alot of grill space, that's why we opted for the smaller radiator..
but small things like moving my number up higher, can cool the radiator alot...

this is an example of how cold the core gets...
"me thrashing my lib hardcore, for like half hour, on a 28degree day.. pulled over left my car running with the bonnet down..for a good couple mins..

touched the core...really really cold...i've even got condensation once..
i was shocked...

mick fitted the WTA, did an awesome, solid as a rock...

the america guys run WTA heaps..

check out this WRX...http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.ph ... the-build/

thanks for questions...lets people know more about WTA...

btw michael's dog rocky die last week...he's guttered :(
