no no...the stock radiator is thin really thin...even the sti rex has a slightly thicker core...but it's because I'll be running more than 20psi...and want to keep temps in normal range :)

Hey Jackson

Does Mick weld on his own collector / splitter to the X Force downpipe or does it come standard from X Force with that collector?

mick welds them on, depending on the exhaust side on the turbo...whether its 7cm, 8cm, 10cm :)

how's your beast?? i like your wagon

also to...with that tune from mick that STI that got 187kw...

we got talking about it: there can be alot of reasons why the higher read..

whether the car was trashed from new? coz that can set the degrees in the cam gear right from the start
and tyres as well...if you have wider tyres with heavy tread...read a lower dyno read...
km's on the timing belt
fuel

the list is endless

yeah, the cars going well.

Just saving up for the next MODS at the moment.

I sold my Invidia CAT Back Exhaust so i'm planning to get an X Forxe Centre and Y pipe and keep the standard mufflers (i want to keep it quiet) .

Also planning to get a bigger Turbo, most likely a VF52 at this stage as i don't wan't to increase lag by too much.

Mick also recommended that i get an inlet pipe from Troy at prospeed and get them all fitted at once and retune.

Mick reckons that i don't need to upgrade the fuel pump or injectors as its an auto (I want to upgrade the fuel pump anyway for safety) .

I'm thinking i might need a Boost solenoid as well.

If i got 200kw i'll be pretty happy.

If E85 became readily available around Sydney, i would get Mick to tune it on E85 as well.

That STI with 187kw blew me away too. I thought it must have been a freak engine.
It would be really interesting to see what it could do with a bigger turbo and intercooler etc.

How long until your engine is back together and back on the Dyno?

yeah vf52 is a great turbo...

you should hit some eq length headers...the deatschwerks 65c is a great pump...and a straight drop in :)

yeah you should definitely see 200kila wasps...

boost solenoid + very much worth it...

I could do a package that would see 205-10kw for good price

inlet
top mount
turbo

:)

the heads are still getting ported... but i still have to run the engine in once the engine is done :)
so prob end of may start of June...but got anniversary in June so it will be when i get back :)

its to do with the turbo.. not the Housing size:)

if its a VF Ball Bearing or VF Journal they will be a different length splitter then a different one again for a TD series turbo
