I'm thinking of vinyl wrapping my roof jet black ala m3 style

Don't know if I'm ballsy enough for it yet though....

problem with the liberties is they dont have the defined roof seams like bmws and mercedes, so i dunno if roof would look as good done like that

first evening done, finished front fenders, rear quarter panels and little bits below them, and bonnet, although may re-do that at the end with any excess material as theres a couple of trouble spots. thought bonnet would be easy. hah. wrong there :(

cheers to my mate archie @ moonlight detailing for prepping the car; despite being a car lover, washing the car is something i just dont enjoy, and especially not getting rid of lots of dirt and stuff
cheers also to chappo and nigel for helping out tonight
plan for tomorrow is strip door interiors so i can get handles out, get rid of those garnish strip things, wrap separately and re-attach on top. so all 4 doors done by tomorrow night. maybe do rear bumper as well, or boot.
miiight get a teaser shot up as well hahah

aaaaaand we're done!! thankyou leo for photos :)
-vinyl wrap finished, although left the mirrors as is for now because it looks like a complicated shape to do  and it actually looks alright like this i think, bit of contrast
-xcess motorsports GT front lip installed, already scraped going out of leos driveway so need to get used to that and adjust my driving accordingly lol
-philips diamond vision high beam globes installed, crazy difference in illumination although honestly 80% of the reason i bought them was because of the reflection they have on the headlights during daytime haha makes it look blue :D

didnt take many photos during the process apart from the ones i put on the club.lib facebook page
overall i enjoyed the process, always good to give stuff a go yourself and learn something new in the process. couldnt afford the 3k or so that most places wouldve wanted for it done professionally anyway
so granted, theres creases here and there, join seams, and not-so-perfect edges but hey i dont care

3metres away from the car you cant see any of this anyway  need a velvet rope around it i think when parked

although its described as "matte dark grey", the finish itself changes from almost a purple-y grey in sunlight to gunmetal and that ultra stealth look at night. i love it either way, looks exactly how i envisioned it turning out

will try and get some semi-professional photos done in a shoot with some friends soon
and write up a "how-to" DIY guide hahah
